Frequently asked questions:
Q. How much are your classes?
A. Our enrollment prices are between $45-$100 per month depending on if you want separate classes or all classes. We have family discounts and discounts if you enroll for a year w/monthly payments. Please feel free to stop in during our scheduled hours to check out our classes and speak to an instructor (you are welcome to try out a few classes for free).
Q. What should I wear to classes (Women's conditioning, Kickboxing, and Self Defense)
A. Something comfortable to work out in. Drawstring shorts or sweatpants are a good idea. We are a bare foot gym, but don't worry, the mats are cleaned and disinfected daily. You can wear grip sox if you choose (regular sox are ok but tend to be slippery).
Q. I punched in the address on my GPS but it brings me to an empty lot, what's up?
A. Benton Drive runs through different towns so some GPS systems go to the wrong address on Benton Drive. Just look for the big black star at the end of the driveway (or Del Padre Video Productions.....same building) drive around back and you will see the black door w/black canopy over it. Typing in 202 Benton Drive, East Longmeadow, MA , which is the building right next door (what? 15 to 202 ?.....your guess is as good as ours) seems to work fine though.
Q. I'm a little nervous about starting to train at your school, any suggestions?
A. This is normal but there is nothing to be nervous about. We are all friendly people here and we are here to help you accomplish your goals. We were all in the same boat as you at one time or another so we understand. We have not yet had anybody walk through our doors, try a class, and regret it. We ask everyone to leave their ego at the door and train as a team member in a friendly atmosphere.
Q. Do I have to fight if I join your school?
A. Full contact fighting is optional. Only if and when you are ready. We serve both sides of the spectrum. We have students who just train for fitness and defensive skills. We also train pro and amateur Boxers. Everyone respects what you choose.
Q. What if I can't keep up with the other people in class?
A. All of our classes are designed for you to work at your own pace. You will progress at your own pace. Our whole gym is a "no judgement zone".
