WOMAN'S CONDITIONING
Our Women's Conditioning class consists of a unique bodyweight workout.
This bodyweight workout will:
~ Build lean muscle and reduce fat ~
~ Give your body much more strength, endurance and flexibility ~
~ Improve your health and well being ~
~ You will feel better mentally and physically ~
~ Help you achieve healthy weight loss ~
Why are they the best workout?
Other excercises tend to isolate muscles with the intention of bulking the muscle up. This may create "pretty" muscles, but the functional strength and lean muscle you get from bodyweight excercises is more powerful and healthy.
These excercises work your whole body and strengthen it from the core. When you workout you engage all the organs, the glands and the muscles.
What makes this unique?
Our senior instructor, Paul White, brings over 40 years of experience using different bodyweight excercises from the combat arts and bringing them to a safe and friendly environment. He also incorporates real life self defense movements throughout his different routines. He strongly believes that body mechanics and a physically fit body is your best self defense. A great workout a few times a week will defend you from poor health and disease. As we age, young and old alike, physical fitness should become one of our priorities.
Movement is a medicine for creating change
in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states.
-Carol Welch
Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being,
while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.

one of the most important keys to a healthy body;
it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.

Lead Instructor of Whitedog Combat Conditioning and Women's Conditioning.
Paul White - born in 1963 -all achieved with bodyweight excercises and calisthenics.
Calisthenics are a form of dynamic exercise consisting of a variety of simple, often rhythmical, movements, generally using minimal equipment or apparatus. They are intended to increase body strength and flexibility with movements such as bending, jumping, swinging, twisting or kicking, using only one's body weight for resistance. They are usually conducted in concert with stretches. Calisthenics when performed vigorously and with variety can benefit both muscular and cardiovascular fitness, in addition to improving psychomotor skills such as balance, agility and coordination. [1]
Groups such as sports teams and military units often perform leader-directed group calisthenics as a form of synchronized physical training (often including a customized "call and response" routine), in order to increase group cohesion and discipline. Calisthenics are also popular as a component of physical education in primary and secondary schools over much of the globe.[
